Touhou Character #1: Reimu Hakurei

As I have mentioned previously, I will be going over the characters from Touhou. First up is the Shrine Maiden of Paradise, Reimu Hakurei.

The Shrine Maiden of Paradise, Reimu Hakurei

Reimu could be considered one of the main protagonists of the series, alongside Marisa Kirisame. She has appeared in almost every piece of official Touhou media, often as a playable character. She has no appearance in Shoot the Bullet or Fairy Wars, and she is not a playable character in Double Spoiler.
Reimu is the go-to girl for incident solving. Whenever something odd starts happening in Gensokyo, Reimu will follow her intuition to whoever has caused the incident.
She is the shrine maiden of the Hakurei Shrine. Although she would like to have human visitors to the shrine, they are deterred by the youkai that often visit. Most of the enemies Reimu has previously defeated become friendly with Reimu.
Reimu is a human, with the power of flight. Despite this, she has gone up against vampires, ghosts, oni, immortals, so on and so forth.
The reason Reimu can go up against such powerful beings is due to the spell card rules. Another factor may be that if Reimu was truly defeated, Gensokyo's border would collapse. However, I can't actually say for certain if that is true or not, but it is a theory I've seen go around.
